New Ad Banner – Historic Investments

Just a quick note that I have added a new banner to the site sidebar: Historic Investments. They have a GunBroker account instead of a standalone web site (although I think that is coming at some point) or brick-and-mortar store, but that doesn’t change the fact that they trade in some pretty cool collectible firearms. Mostly handguns, and they tend to stick to guns that are in eye-poppingly good condition (very much the opposite of my personal collecting habits, really).

Here are a couple examples of what they have for sale at the moment:

USGI Remington-Rand 1911A1 captured in Korea and repaired by the Pussan Jin arsenal with a newly fabricated slide

Italian military-issue Beretta M1923, in 9mm Glisenti

Model 1901 Webley-Fosbery automatic revolver, in .455 with a 6″ barrel and original owner’s inscription

There’s a lot more (47 guns total as of my writing this). I have worked with the owner, and he has provided me access to some very cool guns anonymously. If you are interested in high-condition, truly investment grade historical arms, these folks are definitely worth keeping in mind.
